Independent Statistical Investigations

This term the entire T.A.S Intermediate syndicate have been working towards creating our own Statistical Mathematics Investigations. This is our very first time selecting our own topic to collect information about. We have to collect information from other students, clean the data we collect, then analyse the data, create graphs and summarise the information we receive, then lastly writing "I noticed" and "I wonder" statements. Taipa Area School Talent Quest 2019

It was the week before the school Talent Quest and our class decided that we would enter if we had most of the class joining in. When we searched the internet for ideas we came across something similar to this and decided we would ask the other Intermediate students to see if they wanted to join in with us. With only two days to practice and approximately 3/4 of all the Intermediate students in our school we came up with this. 
"We all had fun joining in and wished the dance was longer once we were on stage."
"It was cool that people couldn't see our faces."
"Some of the dances were from Fortnite and Tik-Tok."

About Us

Our class has the best teacher Miss Tito. Our class has won the Intermediate Cup twice so far this year. We enjoy playing sports together and competing against the other Intermediate classes. We like doing work on our devices and working in groups. We often go on trips around our area to learn about our local history and what makes the Far North special and unique. Here is a little bit about each member of our class.
